How do I find out if I am registered to vote?
Visit the Montgomery County Voter Services web site.  You will enter your Last name, First name and date of birth.  If you are currently registered with the Montgomery County Election Board, your name will come up as registered, it will show the address you are currently registered at, and it will show your polling place where you will go to cast your vote. .

How do I register to vote? 
PA. Registration is open to any qualified elector up to thirty (30) days before each election and reopens five (5) days following each primary election and thirty (30) days following each municipal and general election. What if I will be out of town on Election Day?
If you cannot be in town on Election Day, you may be able to vote by Absentee Ballot.  Contact Horsham Republican Headquarters by Email, or by phone at 215-784-9586 to receive your Absentee Ballot Application Form.  Your application form must be filled out and returned to the Montgomery County Election Board who after receiving your application will mail you your Absentee Ballot.  You can visit the Montgomery County Voters Services web site for additional information or to apply online.  If you have voted by Absentee Ballot then you are in town the day of the election, you are expected to go in person to the polls to vote. At that time, inform the Judge of Elections inside your poll that you had filled out an absentee ballot. The ballot will then be destroyed, and you can vote in person.

If I didn't vote in the last election, am I still eligible to vote on Election Day?

Can I still vote if I am housebound?
Yes.  If you are housebound on Election Day, you may be able to vote by Absentee Ballot.  Contact Horsham Republican Headquarters by Email, or by phone at 215-784-9586 to receive your Absentee Ballot Application Form.  Your application form must be filled out and returned to the Montgomery County Election Board who after receiving your application will mail you your Absentee Ballot.  You can visit the Montgomery County Voters Services web site for additional information or to apply online.

How does voting by Absentee Ballot work?
You may be able to vote by Absentee Ballot if you are a registered voter who is unable to appear at your regular polling location on the day of Election. You are eligible to apply for an Absentee Ballot if you will be out of the County on Election Day or if you are housebound. The Absentee Ballot is mailed by the Election Board to the voter if an Application for Absentee Ballot has been filed. Once the voter receives the ballot, the voter should vote, seal and return the Ballot to the Election Board before the deadline to return voted Absentee Ballots, 5:00PM on the Friday before the election.

If I become physically ill or disabled or am called out of the County because of business or occupational duties after the deadline to apply for an Absentee Ballot what should I do?
You may still apply for an Absentee Ballot by executing an Emergency Application up until 5:00PM on the Friday before the election.  Contact Horsham Republican Headquarters by Email, or by phone at 215-784-9586 for assistance.  You can visit the Montgomery County Voters Services web site for additional information or to apply online for your Emergency Application.

What are the eligibility requirements to vote?
Individuals applying to register to vote must be: A citizen of the United States for at least one month before the next primary, special, municipal, or general election. and resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which the individual desires to register and vote for at least 30 days before the next primary, special, municipal, or general election and at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next primary, special, municipal, or general election.

Note:  You are not registered to vote until your application has been filled out, processed and accepted by the Montgomery County’s registration office.  If accepted, the county registration office will send you, via non-forward able mail, a Voter Identification Card within 14 days of your application.  If you do not receive a card, you can contact the Voter Services office at 610-278-3280.  Visit the Montgomery County Voters Services web site for additional information.

What do I do if I move into a new election district or have changed my name because of marriage or some other reason?

What if I need assistance to vote?
You may require assistance in voting due to blindness, disability, or inability to read or write. You are not permitted to receive any assistance in voting at any primary or election unless your voter's registration card in the district bears a declaration that you require assistance in order to complete the act of voting for the reason specified by the voter on your registration card and the election officials are satisfied that you still suffer from the same condition.
