Welcome to the Horsham Republican Party

The GOP faithful came out in force during the Horsham Republican Party’s Spring fundraiser. Proceeds will support the Horsham Township Council and Hatboro-Horsham School Board candidates.

Held at the Ukrainian American Sport Center, Speaker of the House of Representative Mike Turzai made the roughly 10-hour round-trip drive from his home in the Pittsburgh area to show support for State Rep. Todd Stephens and the Horsham Township community.

“You should be excited about what you’re doing here,” Turzai told the cheering and clapping crowd. “You should be proud to be Republicans. We do not pat ourselves on the back enough. We are scal stewards of people’s hard-earned money.” In contrast, Turzai said of Gov. Tom Wolf’s proposed budget and needless tax increases, “where does it end? It’s Ed Rendell on steroids.”

Horsham Republican Party Chairman Anthony Spangler pointed out that the Horsham Township Council, on the other hand, has not raised taxes in more than 25 years. “We’re very proud of our community,” Spangler said. Many of the candidates for local municipal, school board and county positions were in attendance. Stay tuned for more on the Horsham Township Council and Hatboro-Horsham School Board candidates.
